About Alice Image.png

feminist, self-taught chef,

lover of dogs

 Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Having immigrated from Mexico in her early childhood and spending extensive time around other immigrants, Alice has experienced first-hand the joys and tribulations of immigrating to the U.S., igniting her passion for helping her community. Alice recently graduated with honors from the University of Richmond, receiving her B.A. in International Studies. Alice’s goal with ACtS United is to blend her practical experience and formal education to foster a safe environment of encouragement and equality for immigrants and their families in which they can thrive.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, kickboxing, travelling, and having (very loud) at-home concert performances for her dog.

 Chief Operations Officer (COO)

After receiving her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Richmond, Christiana is ready to start her long-time goal of helping others carry out successful lives.  Her years at college, including a semester abroad in Chile, have exposed her to several types of inequalities that challenge the lives of people around the world.

In her spare time, you will find her singing, dancing, studying Korean, and acting out scenes from her favorite Disney films.

About Michelle Image.png

 Chief Communications Officer (CCO)

A Richmond native and child of Cambodian refugees, Michelle received her B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Asia. Her family’s emphasis on the power of education instilled in her the virtues of perseverance and self-discipline early on, encouraging a work ethic that allowed her to complete high school in three years. Through ACtS United, Michelle is determined to give back to her hometown by providing Richmond immigrants with the guidance and resources that would have helped her own family during their transitional journey in the past.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys creating art, listening to music, travelling, and studying languages.
